Thorsgade is an old shopping street which today is converted mostly into housing with some tendency of shops returning into the street.
Thorsgade is just on the edge of Hans Christian Andersens Odense from early 1800s. This means that shops, sights, museums, concert halls - and the city life that makes Odense exciting and worth a visit is just round the corner.

The beaches at Nyborg and Kerteminde are within short driving distances and so are golf courses and other sights on the island.

The coastal towns can all be reached easily with bus, car or train.
